Born and raised in San Diego, I've lived in California my entire life. I took a photography class in highschool and quickly came to love working in the darkroom, particularly making prints. After graduating (circa 1998), my new hobby was placed on the backburner in favor of university studies.

In 2006, I purchased an Olympus digital SLR and re-kindled my love of photography. I soon recognized the correlation between post processing digital images and simply processing analog ones. Over the years, photography has become a passion.
